An OrgRole (Organisation Role) is typically the role of an OrgUnit leader, so the lead role of a department might be: Manager; a shop floor: Supervisor, and so on.

The other type of OrgRole is a specialist one where the role is not a leadership position, but is still a key individual role.

OrgRoles are therefore a superset of OrgUnits, and would make a more complete Org Chart.
